God made Sally a part of our lives and a special part of our breeding program. Sally came from a litter out of Faith and __. We kept a male puppy from that litter (Sergeant) for future breeding, so we were not planning on keeping a female. But one puppy didn’t sell. We never worry when that happens, because we know the right family just wasn’t ready yet when the puppy needed to go home.
Sally was about four months old when all my kids came to me—one by one—and asked if she could be our inside dog. I had never had an indoor dog before; raising kids made it feel like too much. But with my youngest now being six, it suddenly felt right. I knew she was supposed to be part of our family.
I called Owen and told him that Sally was meant to be our indoor dog. He was surprised and said he had two calls that very day from people wanting her. I told him he needed to call them back and let them know we were keeping her.
Sally has been the perfect indoor dog. She learned so quickly and has such a calm, gentle spirit. She is polite, obedient, and truly perfect for our family.
