Due to Kanosh being in a remote area, most puppy buyers have to travel a long ways to visit. Because of this, we try to make a schedule that allows people to pick their puppy on the same day that the puppy goes home. However, visits to see the dogs and puppies are welcome most any time. We try to accommodate anyone that wants to visit but ask you to let us know you are coming beforehand. We encourage visitors to come on days other than Sunday so that we can keep it as a personal family day.
Because of our busy schedules, very reasonable prices, long distance from the airport, and the desire to keep stress at a minimum for our puppies we DO NOT fly them out. Some people will fly in and take their puppies home as a carry-on.
As we process potential homes for our puppies, we take into account lifestyles, time requirements, commitment, and experience. Also, we give high priority to families that have gotten puppies from us over the past two decades. Sometimes getting a Kanosh Labs puppy requires a little patience – but the wait is always worth it!
When you get a puppy from Kanosh Labs it will have dew claws removed, first shots, a HOMEAGAIN microchip implant, and will have been wormed. A folder with information for your puppy will include a pedigree, AKC Limited Registration, shots schedule, worming record, microchip registration info., OFA records of parents, and parent photos. It is interesting to watch how people pick their puppy. Sometimes families make their decisions together, sometimes parents come without the kids, sometimes the kids make the pick, quite often spouses try to pass responsibility of the decision onto each other, and even sometimes families ask us to choose. Our advice is to make sure you get a puppy from the right parents and don’t over-complicate it. We’ve seldom had a family that felt they got the wrong puppy.
Total cost for a Kanosh Lab puppy is $2000. Please do not put down a deposit unless we have visited with you first. We prefer to wait until puppies are here before we take deposits. To reserve a puppy we ask that you give place a $500 deposit through Venmo, PAYPAL, or a check. Also, please notify us by e-mail at kanoshlabs@gmail.com. Please specify which puppy you want by color, gender, and mother. In the email also include your phone #’s and address so that we can contact you when needed. When you pick up your puppy we prefer cash, check, or Venmo for the remaining balance.
